Blessings in a Backpack is working to brighten the future for children throughout Lee County, and we need your help!
In a time when we so willingly provide help to those in-need across the ocean, we must take the time to remember those who are much closer to home.
Children all over Lee County suffer from hunger on a weekly basis. It’s up to us to ensure that the future leaders of our community get the food they need for success.
The “One Child One House” campaign will have a huge impact on the future of our community as a whole. Your donation can ensure that a qualifying child will go home from school for the weekend with a backpack full of nutritious, lightweight and easy to prepare food items. This ensures that they not only have enough to eat for the weekend, but that they return to school fueled and ready to learn.
